Melania Rubiano, PMHNP-BC, is a compassionate and dedicated Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner committed to providing high-quality, patient-centered mental health care across the lifespan. She earned her advanced psychiatric training from St. Thomas University and is passionate about helping individuals and families navigate mental health challenges with understanding, empathy, and evidence-based care.

Melania has experience working with a diverse patient population ranging from young children as early as 4 years old through adulthood and the geriatric population. She specializes in supporting children, adolescents, and families by creating a safe, supportive, and collaborative environment where patients feel heard, respected, and empowered throughout their treatment journey.

Her clinical approach focuses on promoting emotional wellness, resilience, and balance through comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, psychoeducation, and individualized treatment planning. Melania values building strong therapeutic relationships and believes in partnering closely with families to support long-term mental and emotional well-being.

Melania is committed to providing safe and responsible psychiatric care. She does not prescribe controlled substances, including stimulant medications for ADHD. However, when appropriate, she offers safe alternative treatment options and works collaboratively with patients and families to coordinate referrals to trusted providers for specialized medication needs.
